Hiring Our Heroes Hiring Fair for Military Spouses at Camp Pendleton

Camp Pendleton CA— Although the reported veteran unemployment situation is improving, data shows that military spouses face continued challenges in finding meaningful employment. Unemployment among military spouses tends to be up to 30 percent higher than their civilian counterparts and underemployment is even higher.

That is why on February 17-18, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation is hosting a Hiring Our Heroes Military Spouse Networking Reception and Hiring Fair at Camp Pendleton.

The networking reception takes place Wednesday, Feb 17 from 7:00 – 9:00 pm and the Hiring Fair takes place Thursday, Feb. 18 from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Both will be held at the Pacific Views Event Center, Bldg 202850 San Jacinto Rd., Camp Pendleton. 

The event is open to all active duty, guard, reserve, veteran, and gold star spouses.

Veterans and service members are also encouraged to attend. Both local and national employers are expected to participate, with jobs available for spouses of all levels of experience.
