The Jubilee takes place Saturday and Sunday, March 17 and 18, 9 am – 5 pm at San Diego Botanic Garden, 230 Quail Gardens Drive in Encinitas. This year during the Jubilee, Sam, the Garden’s Giant Galapagos Tortoise, will make a special guest appearance on both Saturday and Sunday from 10 am – 1 pm.

In honor of Sam’s 54th birthday (on March 23), the Garden will offer an opportunity drawing for one lucky winner (and up to 10 family members or friends) to meet the Garden’s gentle giant personally! The winner will also receive a signed copy of the award-winning  book “Too Big To Lose,” the heart-warming story of Sam and Julian Duval, SDBG’s President & CEO.
