Oceanside CA- The results of the Oceanside Police Department’s Traffic Services Unit which conducted a DUI/Driver’s License checkpoint last Friday, the 13th, have been released. The checkpoint was set up on Oceanside Boulevard, West of Rancho Del Oro from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m on Saturday. Officers contacted 361 drivers during the checkpoint, arrested one driver for driving under the influence of alcohol. Eleven other drivers were determined to be currently unlicensed, two others had suspended drivers’ licenses. A total of 18 citations were issued with nine vehicles being towed.
