Veterans Day Weekend in Oceanside

This morning is the Farmers Market, Coast Highway and Pier View Way; 9:00AM-1:00PM.

At the Mission Branch Library, celebrate the release of ‘Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Hard Luck’, with crafts, food and fun. 4:00PM.

Tonight is the Sunset Market hot food, live entertainment, a children’s area, certified agriculture products, cold pre-packaged food as well as retail, artisan and craft booths. Located on Pier View Way west of  the Coast Highway, 5:00PM-9:00PM.


Teens Making Music with Apps. Learn to make your own music using the latest apps on your phone or computer.  For grades 6-12 at the Mission Branch Library, 3:30PM.

High School Football. El Camino High School Wildcats visit the Oceanside Pirates in the final regular season game for both schools. 7:00PM Simcox Field at Oceanside High School.


Native American Cultural Celebration at the Library. 11am – Author Lisbeth Haas with Pablo Tac, Indigenous Scholar: Writings on Luiseno Language and Colonial History c. 1840.
12pm – Native American Storytelling and Music
1pm – Artist Reception for Raymond Lafferty and Catherine Nelson-Rodriguez, whose artwork will be on exhibit in the Library through November.

Heritage Park Festival-Games, a chili cook-off and music. Admission is free.

Closings for Veterans Day
The Mission Branch Library will be closed Sunday, All Library locations will be closed on November 11 in observance of the Veterans Day Holiday. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday, November 12.
