Farmers and Sunset Markets Go Bagless

Oceanside CA-  The City of Oceanside, Main Street Oceanside and Oceanside Farmer’s and Sunset Markets will be saying “no” to paper and plastic bags and “yes” to reusable bags on Thursday, December 19 for the fifth annual Day Without A Bag (DWAB) celebration.

DWAB is an education and awareness event to remind residents to use reusable instead of disposable bags while they are doing their holiday shopping. Shoppers who bring their own reusable bag to the Oceanside Farmer’s and Sunset Markets will be entered into a drawing for fun eco-friendly prizes. For those that forget their bag, the City of Oceanside will be on hand distributing free reusable bags.

Oceanside Farmer’s Market is open 9:00AM to 1:00PM  at the corner of Coast Highway and Pier View Way.

Sunset Market open from 5:00PM to 9:00PM, Tremont Street between Mission Avenue and Civic Center Drive and Pier View Way between Coast Highway and North Cleveland Street.
