Poetry, Live Music at the Library

Oceanside CA- Join the Oceanside Public Library in welcoming Lee Mallory, a Southern California beat poet, on Thursday, January 23, from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Civic Center Public Library Community Rooms, located at 330 N. Coast Highway. Mallory was a contemporary of the late and iconic Charles Bukowski, poet Kenneth Rexroth, and pop novelist Richard Brautigan. With live music by “The Rocking Bluesman,” local Oceanside resident Bill Boyd, this performance will underscore the relevance and importance of poetry in our lives. Open to all ages, with topics that may be more appropriate for mature audiences.

This free program is sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library and is open to the public. For more information, please visit the library’s website at www.oceansidepubliclibrary.org or call (760) 435-5600.
