Uncle Ben’s Infused Rice Recall

Oceanside CA- The Food and Drug Administration is warning consumers not to eat certain kinds of Uncle Ben’s rice, after investigating several reports of illness among children eating the products in school since October.

Mars Foodservices US is voluntarily recalling UNCLE BEN’S® INFUSED® Rice products, which are only sold in 5 lbs and 25 lbs bags.

Uncle Ben’s® Brand Ready to Heat, Boxed, Bag or Cup Products available in supermarkets and other retail outlets are not involved. These Foodservices Products are manufactured separately and are sold through wholesale distribution channels.

These products should not be served or eaten. They should be returned to the distributor where purchased.
