San Diego CA-A job fair will be held for SeaWorld and Aquatica Waterpark on Sunday, March 2, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the SeaWorld San Diego Education Center located 500 SeaWorld Drive. Pay rate for positions start at $9.45 per hour.
Positions may include:
- Guest Arrival Host/Hostess
- Park Prep Host/Hostess
- Culinary Ops. Host/Hostess
- Beverage Host/Hostess
- Sales Clerk
- Lifeguard
- Shallow Water Guard
- And various other opportunities available within the Merchandise, Park Operations, Culinary, and Aquatics departments
Hours:
Up to 40 hours per week.
Availability:
AQUATICA: Must have 2 days of unrestricted availability, to include one weekend day, during the non-peak season (April 28th– June 1st and September 8th-September 28th) as well as 4 days of unrestricted availability, to include one weekend day, during the peak season (June 2nd – September 7th).
SEAWORLD: Must have 2 days of unrestricted availability, to include one weekend day, during the non-peak season (April 21st – June 15th) as well as 4 days of unrestricted availability, to include one weekend day, during the peak season (June 16th – September 1st).
Must be available holidays, early mornings and late nights.
*NOTE: Seasonal need may end prior to conclusion of peak season based on park need.
Basic Job Functions and Principle Duties:
- Enthusiastically represents SeaWorld by displaying a positive attitude, high level of energy and commitment to quality throughout all aspects of the job.
- Maintains area cleanliness, operates area equipment, interacts with guests, provides park information, and may handle cash.
- Provides world class guest service to park guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or languages, and individuals with special needs.
- Assists locations throughout the park as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills, Knowledge, Education, and Training:
- Must be at least 16 years of age for all positions. Some positions may require applicants to be at least 18 or 21 years of age.
- Must be able to provide excellent guest service.
- Must be able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced work environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be able to work indoors and in outside weather conditions (i.e., sunny, wet and/or humid conditions).
- Must be able to positively interact with park guests and co-workers of all ages, different ethnic/cultural backgrounds and/or languages, and individuals with special needs.
