Oceanside CA- The Oceanside Public Library’s Teen Zone will be hosting a video gaming event today, March 14 at 2:30 p.m. at the Civic Center Library to celebrate Teen Tech Week. Teens are invited to come play video games on the Nintendo Wii, as well as classic games on the PS2 and Super Nintendo in the Library Community Rooms, located at 330 N. Coast Highway in Oceanside. Teens will be able to compete against each other and get a bite to eat while they play. The event is open to teens and tweens in grades 4 – 12.
Teen Tech Week was established by the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA), and is a national celebration of technology and digital media in libraries during the week of March 9 – 15. This is event is sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library and is free for teens and their younger siblings.
