Loud Voices, Quiet Spaces, Glassless Minds at the Library

Oceanside CA- Oceanside Public Library, in collaboration with Glassless Minds, present a weekend of poetry and spoken word. Glassless Minds and O’side locals will perform two exciting and engaging shows. Saturday April 5th, 4 – 6 p.m., at our Civic Center Library, 330 N Coast Highway, and on Sunday April 6th 3 – 5 p.m., at our Mission Branch location, 3861-b Mission Avenue.

Both evenings will be a mini showcase of some of Glassless Minds artists both spittin’ poems and talking a little about their lives, loves, failures and sweet triumphs of being live performing artists in an age of digital touchscreens! Each day will be filled with a slightly different line-up of poets with different material. Bring a friend, and open ear, open heart and a glassless mind.

Glassless Minds is a 501c3 non-profit that encourages, facilitates, and fosters constructive emotional outlets and personal expression in an accepting and empathetic forum for troubled teenagers and young adults through a variety of mediums: spoken word, creative writing, poetry, music and visual art.
