Building Community Outreach Through the Performing Arts

Vista CA – Building community outreach through the performing arts; Ballet Folklorico Tierra Caliente (BFTC) and Teatro Tierra Caliente will showcase a weekend full of art, music, dance and history. This events take place at the AVO Playhouse in Vista on June 6th and 7th, 2014.

June 6th: Teatro Tierra Caliente will present the play “Ahnelhuayoxóchitl, Flor sin Raiz” written by Patrick Johansson. The Spanish based play is an educational story line emphasizing pre-Hispanic mythology. Play will incorporate live music, pre-Hispanic sounds and dance. A family oriented play unique in its art and history.

June 7th: Ballet Folklorico Tierra Caliente will present the third annual – “Ticitozaa”- a showcase of traditional dance, costumes, music and history. Countywide known BFTC portrays the “History of Mexico on Stage”. A showcase of various styles of dance and music from the Mexican Republic, ranging from pre-Hispanic “Danzas” to some of the most lively and popular genres within traditional folklore.

We are looking for businesses to supports the visual and performing arts in our community. There are four sponsorship levels (presenting sponsor, gold, silver and amigo) that can greatly give your business and/or organization exposure. A representative will be available to discuss the publicity BFTC is undertaking to promote these productions and the marketing strategies that best fit your business and/or organization.
