Holi ‘Festival of Colors’ Comes to Oceanside

Oceanside CA- The ‘Festival Of Colors’ is quickly becoming known as the world’s happiest event! This ancient Indian tradition is a celebration to welcome spring as well as the triumph of good over evil. Each year in India, literally hundreds of millions of people participate in the throwing of colors. It has also become a worldwide phenomena with huge gatherings all across North America and for the first time, it will be held at the Amphitheater by the Pier in Oceanside on Saturday, June 21 2014

People of all traditions, faiths and ages will come together to celebrate life and throw colors, along with their worries, to the wind. After a while, the vibrant splashes of red, blue, yellow and green let us forget our bodily conception. Rather we begin to see the oneness of all people and are united in love, peace and respect. The sense of being connected by our humanity increases the joyous mood.

Live musical performances, great food, refreshments, India boutique, yoga, dance and more…. Colors (dry, colored powder) will be thrown every hour.
