SDSO Search for Solana Beach Burglary Suspect

Solana Beach CA– On July 15, 2014, at 10:15 PM, Deputies from the Encinitas Sheriff’s Station responded to investigate a report of a residential burglary at 132 S. Acacia Avenue in the city of Solana Beach. The victim was home at the time of the break-in.

The suspect entered the victim’s apartment through an open window after dismantaling the screen. The exact loss is unknown. The suspect was described as an approximately 40 year-old Hispanic man, 5’10” tall, and approximately 180 pounds, with dark bushy hair and mustache, wearing dark clothing.

Deputies searched for the suspect using a Sheriff’s K-9 and a Sheriff’s ASTREA helicopter, but they were not able to locate him.
