Despite GPS Monitoring, Sex Offender Attacks Again

San Diego County CA– Sheriff’s deputies arrested John Wilson Kreischer (DOB May 16, 1946) yesterday afternoon in Jacumba on charges of Burglary and Sexual Battery. He has been booked into San Diego Central Jail on $50,000 bail. The investigation is ongoing.

Kreischer is alleged to have entered the home of a 70-year-old female Jacumba resident on Monday, July 21st, in the late morning. The victim reported Kreischer kissed and fondled her, and after several minutes, left the residence in a white pickup truck. Kreischer was arrested shortly thereafter, while still in the area, after the victim contacted the San Diego Sheriff’s Department.

Kreischer is currently on California State parole as a result of a 2009 arrest for failing to register as a sex offender. He was released in 2013 and is on GPS monitoring as a condition of his parole. Kreischer has previously registered in the City of San Diego, and most recently, in the Sheriff’s jurisdiction as a transient in the Lemon Grove area.
