Oceanside CA– More than 200 “movers and shakers” in O’side turned out in all their formal finery Saturday evening for the 20th annual Oceanside Museum of Art Gala at the Civic Center Plaza downtown.
What started in a Henie Hills backyard 20 years ago with only a handful of art enthusiasts in attendance has grown into one of North County’s annual premiere formal events. The Gala is one of the primary fundraising events for the OMA, which is considered one of Southern California’s top cultural arts venues.
The evening began with a champagne reception on the patio of the Museum. During the reception, attendees were given access to all current exhibits. The party then moved over to the Plaza for an elegant dinner catered by White Lotus Entertainment*.
This year’s event was Co-Chaired by Cheryl Weiner and Mary Rombotis, Committee members included: Ellen Stotmeister, auction chairwoman, Michelle D’Elia, Kathy Mulderrig, Sandy Todd, Ann Mortland, and Jenna Carlson.
