UPDATE: The victim airlifted to Palomar Hospital, a 23 year-old male from Fallbrook, has had his condition upgraded to ‘Stable’. Both victims are 23 year-old Fallbrook residents.
Fallbrook CA– On Monday evening, August 18, shortly before 8:00 p.m., Fallbrook deputies received a radio call of a fight in the 200 block of N. Stage Coach Lane. The reporting party on the call said there was a stabbing at her house. The suspect was seen running from the scene southbound on Stagecoach Lane.
Deputies and, later, detectives responded to the crime scene to investigate the case. Two stabbing victims were hospitalized. One of the victims was in critical condition and was transported via REACH Air Ambulance to Palomar West in Escondido for a partially severed carotid artery. His condition is still unknown, the other victim was treated and released.
The investigation revealed the assailant to be 20-year old Fallbrook resident, Guy Roman. Roman turned himself in after it was made known to him from friends that he was wanted in the case. Roman was booked into the Vista Jail for attempted murder.
