Oceanside International Film Festival Call for Entries

Oceanside CA– Oceanside International Film Festival has concluded its 2014 season with a big bang Aug 10, 2014, at Star Theatre announcing its winners. The filmmakers associated with these films can now put down on their resumes their achievements in connection with the eight-day event once again organized by Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation:

Amateur and professional fimlmmakers alike are now invited to submit their films for OIFF-2015’s season. Submission instructions can be seen at www.ocaf.info The festival will run in the same format and at the same venues Aug 9 to 16, 2015. In 2014 it showed 70 films on the big screen. Participants will find it again cost-advantageous to submit their film early:

Narrative Feature Films 40 to 120 min: $45 before December 15 (2014), $50 before March 16 (2015), $55 before June 15 (2015)
Narrative Short Films under 40 min: $35 before December 15 (2014), $40 before March 16 (2015), $45 before June 15 (2015)
Full Length Documentaries 40 to 120 min: $45 before December 15 (2014), $50 before March 16 (2015), $55 before June 15 (2015)
Short Documentaries under 40 min: $35 before December 15 (2014), $40 before March 16 (2015), $45 before June 15 (2015)
Animation Films up to 120 min: $35 before December 15 (2014), $40 before March 16 (2015), $45 before June 15 (2015)
Student Films* up to 120 min: $25 before December 15 (2014), $30 before March 16 (2015), $35 before June 15 (2015)

Full Length and Short Documentaries may also include sports, live performance, fashion, and music videos. Student Film category is kindergarten through college. Note*: second submission for Student Film category from the same student filmmaker is free of charge. Message OIFF for technical details on how to make a second FREE submission. Student Film fee will apply for third or consecutive submissions.

Filmmakers will be notified if their work is selected for festival screening / becomes an Official Selection by July 7, 2015. No digital files or hard drives will be accepted, WAB Secure Online Screeners are OK for submissions. After entering their submission on WithoutABox, besides Secure Online Screener or Youtube or Vimeo link option for the Jury to view, filmmakers may mail their submissions on DVD or Blu-ray attn to OIFF by OCAF, P.O.
