Vista CA– From “Jailhouse Rock” to down-home blues and classic jazz, Celeste Barbier owns the stage and wows the crowd on Sundays from 3-5 pm at ArtBeat on Main Street, 330 Main Street, Vista. Admission is free, reports ArtBeat owner Kait Matthews.
She says, “Sippin’ Sundays offer a great way to wind down the weekend with three-dollar mimosas and Celeste’s million-dollar sounds, amid an art-filled environment that enhances the experience.”
At a recent Sippin’ Sunday, a couple strolling into the ArtBeat gallery to view the current exhibit and check out the ever-changing mosaic of eclectic art for sale said they were delighted to be surprised by the music and ArtBeat’s new wine lounge. They said, “It’s a very nice way to spend our Sunday!”
Barbier has become iconic in North County and throughout San Diego for her mellifluous voice and captivating spirit. She performs at events small and large, and says she enjoys the intimacy of ArtBeat. “Everyone’s friendly and I love singing while being surrounded by beautiful art.”
Barbier can be sampled at www.soundcloud.com/celestebarbier and enjoyed in person every Sunday afternoon at ArtBeat. Matthews says, “Our downtown Vista vibe has become quite melodious, thanks to Sippin’ Sundays with sultry Celeste!”
