Scream Zone Opens this Friday, September 26

Half off price of Triple Haunt on opening night

Del Mar CA – The 17th annual Scream Zone, San Diego County’s largest haunted experience opens on Friday, September 26 at the Del Mar “Scaregrounds.” Now in its 17th year, Scream Zone will once again present a one-night-only “Half-Price-Fright” for the Triple Haunt:  The House of Horror, The Chamber and The Haunted Hayride.  Every haunted attraction is sure to chill you to the bone.  Also returning this year is “ZOMBIE PAINT BALL SAFARI!” Here’s your chance to chance to shoot at real live, or shall we say DEAD, ZOMBIES!

NEW ADDITIONS THIS YEAR:  Don’t look now…death’s porthole will provoke and tease as you are lured into The Oculus Parlor ; only to be taunted, ensnared, entrenched and ENTRAPPED!  Mirror, mirror on the wall – will it kill you – one and ALL?   Hold on to your head and prepare yourself for the kill of the day and a bloody good wrestle inside The Dusk Till Dawn Bar, where Vampires rule and definitely don’t suck.  There is no escaping The Walking Dead Prison. You can yell and you can scream, but you can’t hide.  You are barred from the rest of the world inside an impenetrable tomb of terror.  Do you feel a bit light headed? The Exorcist will levitate you to extreme demonic trepidation that will have you petrified to open your eyes…in the DARK. There’s heads a-spinning’ and pea soup a-spitting’ when Regan greets you, “hello.”  The Devil you say?  Well, it’s an excellent day………….for an Exorcism!   Stephen King’s Pennywise the dancing Clown aka, IT, brings us back to fun and frolic and memories of our youth, when life was a circus filled with music and dreams and running and jumping and running and playing and running and NIGHT TERRORS!  Once again, to quote Lon Chaney, “clowns aren’t funny in the moonlight.”

ATTENTION PARENTS:   You are welcome to enter The Scream Zone compound to wait for the kids.  Its’ FREE and there are lots of things for you to do and see, including food vendors and adult beverages.  So come on down and enjoy The Scream Zone as a family!
