Oceanside CA— On Wednesday night, November 12, 2014 8:55 p.m., Oceanside Police officers responded to a radio call of an armed robbery that had just occurred at the Mesa Nutrition store at 610 N. Redondo # D in northeast Oceanside.
Officers arrived and located two victims inside the store. The suspect was described as a white male adult, 25 years old, blond hair, blue eyes, black bandana over his face, and wearing a blue sweater with black pants and white tennis shoes. The suspect was armed with a semi-automatic handgun. He pointed it at the clerk and customer and demanded money. The suspect fled from the store towards the houses to the rear of the store.
The victims were the clerk, Diana Trevizo and a customer and acquaintance of hers, Christopher Sandoval. The loss to the business was cash only. Sandoval also gave cash to the suspect. Both victims feared for their lives.
