One Stabbed Another Injured During Fight in SE Oceanside

Oceanside CA— Early this morning, January 30, 2015 at 12:39 a.m. officers of the Oceanside Police Department responded to a stabbing at S. Tremont Street and Eucalyptus Street. Upon arrival they located two victims, a 29 year old male and a 25 year old male. The 29 year old male was stabbed in the abdomen and had a broken left arm. The 25 year old male suffered blunt force trauma to the head and a laceration on the side of his head. Both were flown to Scripps La Jolla and both are San Marcos residents.

Two suspects were located nearby. One suspect, August Lenarz (DOB 09/06/93), was located hiding in the brush area along the railroad tracks by SDSO helicopter ASTREA and the second suspect, Walker Neville (DOB 03/29/93) was located walking away from the scene. A third suspect fled from officers on foot and was not located. The third suspect was described as a white male adult, about 21 years of age, 6’01” and 150 pounds. Lenarz and Neville are Oceanside residents.

An investigation revealed that an altercation occurred inside Larry’s Beach Club over a female and then continued outside once everyone was removed from the bar. This incident does not appear to be gang related.
