Oceanside CA— Anyone who has ever been on a planning committee knows every major project takes countless hours of work; now imagine volunteering that kind of time to create one incredible, special event. A handful of dedicated art and community supporters (pictured) met in early January this year to begin laying the ground work for Oceanside Museum of Art’s summer fundraiser, The Museum Ball.

This elegant annual fundraising event has changed its look over the years, but has consistently aimed toward the same goals – to foster and promote the study and appreciation of art through exhibitions, collections, and educational programs for the cultural enhancement of the regional community at Oceanside Museum of Art.

The Museum Ball will be July 25, 2015, at the Oceanside Civic Center Plaza. For more information about Oceanside Museum of Art, visit www.oma-online.org.

About Oceanside Museum of Art

Oceanside Museum of Art (OMA) opened its doors in 1995 with the mission of being a premier regional art museum for San Diego and Southern California and a leader of arts and culture in North County San Diego. Exhibitions include contemporary art from the 20th and 21st centuries. Now celebrating its 20th anniversary, OMA has become an integrated member of the Oceanside community by providing educational programming for both children and adults, hosting a number of monthly special events and offering free admission the first Sunday of each month.
