Carlsbad CA— Carlsbad Library hosts a spring concert series featuring multilingual vocalist Allison Adams Tucker and Reed Quintet Akropolis. The two free concerts, in March and April, have limited seating and are available on a first come, first served basis.

San Diego local and international jazz vocalist Allison Adams Tucker will perform jazz-inspired songs from various countries and genres with her band at the Georgina Cole Library. Classically trained with a passion for cultures around the world, Adams Tucker sings in six languages including Italian, French, Japanese and Spanish. Her debut album “Come With Me” was nominated for Best Jazz Album by the San Diego Music Awards. Akropolis Reed Quintet

Award-winning reed quintet Akropolis will deliver an energized performance featuring Kari Dion on clarinet, Andrew Koeppe on bass clarinet, Tim Gocklin on oboe, Matt Landry on saxophone and Ryan Reynolds on bassoon. Heralded as playing with “imagination, infallible musicality and huge vitality” by Fanfare Magazine, the quintet matches their musical performance with a commitment to music education by including informative introductions to each piece they play.
