“When The Queen Bee Market founder Mique Provost announced that last November’s show would be the last, my sister and I couldn’t say goodbye to the community that really grew our home décor business, Peabody and Sassafras. We’re continuously inspired by all the vendors that come and feel like there’s nothing like it for handmade items that are current, on trend, girly, fun, and unique,” said Allison Gharst. “We had to keep it going and we are looking forward to showcasing some of the vendors that have been with the show since the beginning plus the many new shops we’ve invited.”

The Queen Bee Market typically features more than 70 vendors from San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles and even as far as Arizona, Idaho, Missouri and Utah. Since the first show in 2010, The Queen Bee Market has become the place to shop for handmade items that are hard to find anywhere else. Shoppers enjoy a range in products – accessories, home decor, jewelry, art and more. Each vendor is carefully selected to ensure that their products are crafty but modern and their booths are fresh and in line with The Queen Bee Market brand.

“Each of us has three kids under six plus our Peabody and Sassafras business so we were nervous to make the leap,” said Kellie Dooley. “But since making the decision we haven’t looked back and couldn’t be more excited to keep this show going, welcome new vendors to The Queen Bee Market family and get some mamas spoiled this Mother’s Day.”

Some of the sure-to-please-mom gifts that will be at the 16th Queen Bee Market, include:

  • Recycled glass jewelry and accessories made from reVetro –
  • Handmade soap, scrubs and creams from Naiad Soap Arts-
  • Unique handbags by Midiqueen –
  • Divinely scented candles from LaBelle Chandelle –
