Local Startup to Host Yoga Beach Event to Raise Money for Thyroid Cancer Research

Carlsbad CAAyathrive, a bold new face in the fitness and natural supplement industry, will sponsor a free fifty minute yoga beach session on Sunday, April 12th, from 9:00-10:00 AM at Powerhouse Park in Del Mar, CA. The startup, based in Carlsbad, hopes to raise money for the Light of Life Foundation; an organization dedicated to the continued research and advancement of thyroid cancer treatment.

There is no cost for admission, but participants will have the chance to “swipe-to-donate” directly to the Light of Life’s website. Cash donations cannot be accepted.

Jenna King, founder and CEO of Ayathrive said of the upcoming event: “Ayathrive is just beginning to take off, but it’s important to me that my company, which champions natural wellness and health, is built on giving back to the community.” King created the company after suffering severe negative effects from the stress of being a mom and full-time lawyer. “Women have to do everything,” King says, “So we need to support each other. Living naturally has always been my way of life, so I wanted to help other women do the same while also creating a space where we can give each other that needed support.”

Though Ayathrive has just released their second-ever supplement, Levrin, which increases energy naturally to reduce stress; King hopes to have an entire line of natural remedies for every stage in a woman’s life. While King won’t promise a “magic pill”, she believes that natural supplements promote a healthy lifestyle and can enhance well-formed habits. And what better habit to form than a regular yoga routine?

Ayathrive will be giving away plenty of swag, so be sure to check out their website to learn about all the products up for grabs!
