Vista CA— Known for his genial approachability as much as his piano virtuosity, Robert Parker will bring his unique “piano romance” to the ArtBeat on Main Street Gallery and Wine Lounge, 330 Main Street, Vista, on June 6, 2015 from 6:30-8:30 pm. Tickets are $5; no advance purchase is required.
According to ArtBeat owner Kait Matthews, “Robert adds a touch of class to our Gallery every time he appears here. He says he likes the our ‘bistro environment and relaxed atmosphere’ as well as being surrounded by eclectic art. He genuinely loves his craft, and it shows.”
An award-winning musician who performs to acclaim at concerts, weddings and private gatherings throughout Southern California, Parker (www.robertparkerpiano.com) offers smooth renditions of timeless music from Bach to Bono, with Duke Ellington, Herbie Hancock, Stevie Wonder and other legends sprinkled in. He is all things piano; in fact his “tip jar” is a miniature piano!
Matthews notes, “Robert says he can easily connect with the audience in our cozy space. Our intimate atmosphere is by design; it’s one reason I keep things fresh with live performances. True, we’re an art gallery; but so much more. My team of artists and I strive daily to uphold and expand our growing brand as a vibrant cultural destination in the heart of historic downtown Vista.”
