Fight Leaves One Dead, One Injured from Stab Wounds-UPDATED

Update: On June 7, 2015, at about 2:00 p.m., detectives from the San Diego Regional Fugitive Task Force and the Homicide Detail located and arrested a seventeen year old male juvenile in 4000 block of Lewis Street in the city of Oceanside. The juvenile was later booked in to Juvenile Hall for murder.

The victim in this case has been identified as twenty-two year old Felis Raya. 

Vista CA— Detectives from the Sheriff’s Homicide Detail are investigating the stabbing death of a 22-year-old male at 1850 Hacienda Drive in the city of Vista.

On Friday night June 5, 2015, at about 9:34 p.m., deputies from the Vista Station received a radio call of a fight occurring outside of the Colima’s Mexican Food restaurant. When deputies arrived at the location, they located one male who had been stabbed. He was immediately transported to the hospital where he died.

At about the same time, the fire department received a call from a nineteen-year-old male reporting he had also been stabbed. This male was then transported to the hospital for treatment.

At this point detectives are collecting evidence and interviewing witnesses. It is unknown if this incident is gang related.

A cause and manner of death will be determined by the Medical Examiner’s Office.
