California State Games-Surfing

Oceanside CA— The California State Games will begin with Opening Ceremonies at Qualcomm Stadium, on July 17 with 10,000 athletes participating in 25 different sports around San Diego County.

The sports range from archery to wrestling with the surfing competition taking place on Sunday July 19 at the Del Mar Jetty aboard Camp Pendleton.

Gold, Silver, & Bronze medals will be awarded to top 3 in each event.

Registration is $50 per event, online before July 12
$60 per event after July 12

California State Games is a statewide amateur sports festival and a 501(c) 3 non-profit organization. The mission of the Games is to promote and nurture the health, education, and well-being of residents by managing a high quality amateur sports event that encourages community participation and provides an olympic-style experience.

The first California State Games was held in 1988. The California Winter Games and the California State Games summer event impacts over 12,000 athletes every year.
