Victim Shot, Car Stolen in Oceanside Robbery

Oceanside CA— Late last night, October 30th, 2015 at approximately 11:00 pm Oceanside Police Officers responded to a radio call of a subject shot in the parking lot at 660 Douglas Drive on the south-east corner of North River Road. Officers arrived on scene and found the 19 year-old-white male adult victim in the parking lot with two gunshot wounds to his body.

The victim was subsequently life flighted to a local area hospital. He was initially listed in critical condition – but later upgraded to stable condition. Officers interviewed witnesses who were with the victim at the time of the shooting.

One witness essentially said when they were in the parking lot, they were confronted by some Black male adults and subsequently robbed.

The victim was shot during the course of the robbery. The witness went on to say the suspects also stole his car. The car was recovered a short distance away from the crime scene, unoccupied.

Oceanside Detectives were called out and are currently interviewing witnesses and conducting a follow-up investigation.
