Strong Wind Advisory Issued for Sunday into Monday

San Diego County CA—Periods of strong gusty west winds for late this morning into Monday morning in San Diego and Orange Counties.

A low pressure system moving inland through southern California, through early Monday, will bring stronger onshore flow with periods of strong gusty west winds for the mountains and deserts from late this morning into Monday morning and near the coast for this evening into Monday morning.

The wind advisory is in effect, along the coast, from 6:00pm this evening, Sunday November 15, 2015 to 10:00am on Monday

Wind areas of west to northwest winds 15 to 25 mph, gusts to 35 mph with strongest gusts near the beaches of 40 mph.

Winds increasing during the late afternoon and early evening and continuing at times into Monday morning.

A wind advisory means that winds of 35 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult, especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
