ACT and SAT Practice Tests at Oceanside Library

Oceanside CA— All high school students and their parents are welcome to attend an information session presented by the Princeton Review on the ACT test and the newly designed SAT test on Monday, March 7, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. in the Civic Center Library Community Rooms. Topics discussed will include: changes to the format of the SAT, the differences between the ACT and SAT, understanding the presentation of questions, and what colleges are looking for in scores.

In addition, Oceanside Public Library will be hosting practice ACT and SAT testing to high school students in April. How will you score? Find out by taking a full length ACT and redesigned SAT practice test given under the same testing conditions as the actual exams. You’ll learn about the endurance and skills needed to get top scores. Registration is required to participate in the practice tests and can be done by visiting the library or calling 760-435-5600.

These events are entirely free of charge and sponsored by the Friends of the Oceanside Public Library. There will be a follow-up meeting after the practice tests for students to get a personalized score report showing their strengths and weaknesses. A Princeton Review representative will be on hand to explain the scoring, strategies for taking the test, and tips on how to improve their scores for next time.
