The Language of Flowers beautifully weaves past and present, creating a vivid portrait of an unforgettable young woman, whose gift for flowers helps her change the lives of others, even as she struggles to overcome her own troubled past. It is one of Oceanside readers’ most beloved and recommended books. Diffenbaugh will also speak about her much-anticipated new novel, ‘We Never Asked for Wings’, in which she blends gorgeous prose with compelling themes of motherhood, undocumented immigration, and the American Dream, in a powerful and prescient story about family.
