Oceanside CA—  This Saturday from 7 pm – 9 pm you will have the opportunity to meet “Without Limbs, Without Limits” –A Life Campaign of Anti-Bullying artist Zuly Sanguino, the Colombian, motivational speaker and a mouth and foot painting artist who was born with Phocomelia, a rare disorder characterized by the absence of legs and arms. She will be exhibiting with family members, sister NYX, brother Efrain and Mother Guillermina at the new Muramid Mural Museum and Art Center Muramid Museum and Art Center in Oceanside.

What makes Zuly so extraordinary is that, while growing up with her sisters and brothers in one rented room in a poor neighborhood, she did not see herself different until she started going to school, where she was bullied by both teachers and students because she looked different. The daily bullying was both verbal and physical – her teacher made her to go up and down 5 floors of stairs on bleeding elbows many times to get to her classroom.

The documentary film Finding Baby Blanca, a tribute to Zuly and her remarkable family, will be produced throughout this calendar year, and the public is invited to come meet and greet this shining star who has been a champion advocate and voice for many people with disabilities in Colombia and South America.

She has been featured in a National Geographic documentary when she discovered that her motivational talks about the importance of building cities with facilities for people with disabilities was needed and appreciated. Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos presented and honored her, further motivating her to realize her long-time dream to take her inspirational life around the world helping people.

Her history has also been written in more than 30 languages as Zuly Sanguino continues making news and changing lives of many people around the globe. People with disabilities or without disabilities are inspired by her life without limbs, without limits.
