A fact sheet provided by FedEx states; “This state-of-the-art facility exhibits FedEx Ground’s commitment to technological innovation that drives our superior accelerated service. In fact, FedEx Ground is faster to more overall locations, including more residential locations, than its primary competitor. Package volumes for FedEx Ground have doubled in the last decade, and FedEx has opened 11 new hubs and expanded or relocated more than 500 local facilities to account for this tremendous growth. We continue to strategically invest in our network – including this fully automated station in Oceanside – to boost daily package volume capacity and further enhance the speed and service capabilities of the FedEx Ground network.”

The delivery area serviced by the Oceanside station range from North as far as Camp Pendleton and Fallbrook; South as far as Carmel Valley, Rancho Penasquitos, and Rancho Bernardo; West as far as the coast; East as far as Pala and Escondido.
