Miracle on 34th Street: A Live Radio Show at the Brooks

Oceanside CA— Oceanside Theatre Company, the resident theatre company of The Brooks Theatre and Studio 219, presents “Miracle on 34th Street: A Live Radio Show”, based on the 1948 LUX Radio Theatre Broadcast. The production is directed by Rosie Gordon, with music direction by Deborah Dodaro. Performance dates are one weekend only at The Brooks Theatre in Downtown Oceanside: Friday, December 16 through Sunday, December 18 (Friday at 7:30 pm; Saturday at 2:00 pm & 7:30 pm; and Sunday at 2:00 pm). The production features pre-show activities for the whole family, including visits with Santa Claus, tasty winter treats, and a children’s holiday choir singing carols.

Miracle on 34th Street is about Kris Kringle, a jolly bearded man named, hired by Macy’s Department store, who claims to be the real Santa Claus. But does Santa Claus really exist? Can a little girl named Susan capture Santa’s heart with the ultimate Christmas wish? This charming holiday favorite is transformed into a live staged radio broadcast straight from the 1940’s, complete with live Foley sound effects, holiday carols, original classic commercials, a cast of all ages, and of course, Santa Claus! Featuring local San Diego County actors: Tom Brault (Kris Kringle), Michelle Marie Trester (Doris), Andrae Goodnight (Fred), and Catalina Zelles (Susan). Bring the whole family to ring in the joy of the holiday season! This is a one weekend only special event, not to be missed!

Tickets: $19 General Admission, $15 Students/Seniors/Military, $9 Children (ages 3- 12), Children 3 & under FREE. Tickets available online or at the box office.
