After the release of the self titled debut album, the Shelters appeared at festivals including Life Is Beautiful, Austin City Limits, Petty Fest, Voodoo, Taste Of South Lake Festival and Kaaboo. Most Recently, the band made their late night debut on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” with a performance of their hit single “Rebel Heart.” Watch here: http://bit.ly/29zdaxV.
Their highly anticipated self-titled debut album is out now via Warner Bros. Records and continues to receive critical acclaim.
The Shelters’ self-titled album is the follow-up to the band’s four-song EP, which was released last October. Both the EP and the album were co-produced by one of the band’s musical heroes, Tom Petty, with all songs written by band members Chase Simpson (vocals, guitar) and Josh Jove (vocals, guitar).
In addition, the band performed “Rebel Heart,” Fortune Teller” and “Nothin’ In The World Can Stop Me Worryin’ ‘Bout That Girl” at the Pastestudio, who calls their performance “…a feel-good Southern California vibe that has been missing from rock ‘n’ roll since the ‘70s.”
The Shelters are Simpson, Jove, Sebastian Harris (drums) and Jacob Pillot(bass).
