City of Carlsbad Hosts Spring Concert Series

Carlsbad CA— The City of Carlsbad is hosting a spring concert series at city libraries beginning in March. Admission is free. Seating if first come, first served.

Robert Parker

2:00 p.m., Community Room at Georgina Cole Library, 1250 Carlsbad Village Drive

Join us for a concert by versatile musician Robert Parker. An accomplished pianist, Parker will showcase a variety of spontaneous compositions based on well-known themes by Bach, Beatles, Cole Porter, Beethoven, Glen Campbell, Coldplay, Fats Waller and Hoagie Carmichael while sharing insights on each piece and tools used by improvisational players. Salty Suites

Advance tickets distributed two hours prior to the show.

Spirit Wind Trio

Spirit Wind, featuring Adrienne Nims on soprano, alto, tenor saxes, traditional flutes as well as Native American, Indian, African and Asian flutes and percussion, will perform contemporary jazz and global music. Their contemporary, Latin jazz infused with irresistible grooves as well as elegant, ethereal melodies will linger with the audience long after the last note.
