Oceanside CA—The MiraCosta College Automotive Technology Program will hold its 7th Annual Car and Motorcycle Show on Saturday, May 6 from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at MiraCosta College, Parking Lot 1A, 1 Barnard Drive, Oceanside. The event is free for spectators.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the college’s military, veteran and EOPS students.
“Car shows are a unique way for car owners, enthusiasts, and MiraCosta automotive technology students to showcase their craftsmanship and mechanical abilities by displaying their pride and joy for the public to enjoy,” said Steve Vail, event coordinator. ““And whether you enter a vehicle or simply participate as a spectator your support can go a long way toward helping military and EOPS students afford textbooks and bolster our scholarship funds.”
The event will include live music, awards and drawings. Also, local high school students will battle it out in a go-cart competition! Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
The fee to exhibit your vehicle is $20 on the day of the event. Preregister online by April 29, and the fee is $15 (military and students, $10).
The event is open to any car or motorcycle and there are no year or make/model restrictions. Categories include hot rods, classics, tuners, trucks, customs, choppers, rat rods, unrestored original and works in progress. Entrants can register online at foundation.miracosta.edu/events.html.
The Car and Motorcycle Show will be held in Parking Lot 1A, with free spectator parking in lot 2A.
