Now – Monday, July 11. Daily, 9 am – 5 pm. Ecke Building. San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. Free with paid admission or membership. 

10th Annual Lung Hsiang Exhibit and Sale. The 10th Annual Lung Hsiang Exhibit and Sale features original Chinese Brush Paintings created by members of the Lung Hsiang chapter of the American Artists of Chinese Brush Painting. The exhibit and sale is open daily from 9 am – 5 pm in the Ecke Building in the Garden. Info: http://www.sdbgarden.org/events.htm


Sunday, May 1 – Labor Day, September 4. Daily, 9 am – 5 pm.  San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. Free admission for active-duty U.S. military and up to 5 immediate family members. 

Blue Star Museum Program. The San Diego Botanic Garden is proud to participate in the Blue Star Museum program, offering free admission to all active duty, National Guard and Reserve members of the U.S. military and their families (card carrier plus 5 immediate family members). Chocolate Festival. Spend the Saturday before Mother’s Day at San Diego Botanic Garden’s famous Chocolate Festival! Enjoy dozens of delectable chocolate tastings, demonstrations, a chocolate fountain and more. Wednesday, May 17, 9:30 am – 12 pm & Wednesday, May 24, 9:30 am – 12 pm, San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. Members: $75, Non-Members $90 plus a $60 materials fee paid directly to the instructor.

Installing Drip Irrigation at Home and on the Urban Farm (Ages 18+). Learn how to set up a drip irrigation system for your home garden or urban farm. Palm, Cycad, Bamboo and Tropical Plant Sale. This one-of-a-kind event features rare and exotic species of palms, cycads and other tropical plants provided by exceptional Southern California Nurseries.
