1:00 p.m. Liz Sheahan from the North County Food Bank will speak on the North County hunger initiative. One in six San Diegans do not have enough to eat. The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego/North County Food Bank is partnering with the community to put an end to this problem.
2:30 p.m. Daniel Orth, program officer at the Joan B. Kroc Institute for Peace and Justice will speak on ending violence, building peace and working with peacemakers from diverse backgrounds in San Diego and around the world to develop new approaches to end violence.

1:00 p.m. Vice Admiral Charles Martoglio, U.S. Navy Ret., will speak about Europe, NATO, Russia and America. Learn about the numerous challenges facing Europe, NATO’s evolution and its current role, and what’s driving Russian activity in Eastern Europe, Syria, and across its periphery.
