Lorraine Castellanos has an intense passion for music, evident in her perceptive phrasing and tone, both as an instrumentalist and vocalist. With a weighty voice and sensitive execution on the Classical Guitar, Castellanos is gaining a reputation as a dynamic musical presence in her hometown of San Diego, California.

Not only will you be able to enjoy live music under the stars, audience members also have the opportunity to show their talent! They can jam with the band on their instrument of choice or even sing a jazz favorite during that night’s event. Jazz Jam Sessions is a free event from 7pm-10pm.

Also, this is the final week of our Museum exhibition California Connections: Selections from Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. The final day will feature our Local Artists Panel on Sunday, August 27th starting at 2pm featuring Steven Gibson, Kara Joslyn, Kim MacConnel, Julian Rogers, Lynn Schuette and Perry Vasquez. Join the discussion with some of our featured artists in the current exhibition as they share their creative process and artistic methods. Tickets are $5 for members and $10 for non-members!
