Man Stabbed at SPRINTER Station in Oceanside

Injuries considered life threatening

Oceanside CA— This afternoon, September 25, 2017, at 2:00pm, OPD Officers responded to a radio call of a stabbing at the SPRINTER Station located, 700 Crouch St. Upon arrival, Officers found a 54-year-old adult male victim on the platform having sustained at least one stab wound.

The motive for the stabbing is unknown at this time however some type of argument between the suspect and victim is believed to have occurred.

The victim was transported to Scripps La Jolla with life threatening injuries.

An adult female subject whom witnesses identified as the stabber was located at the scene and detained. The relationship between the victim and suspect is unknown at this time.

OPD Investigators are currently on scene and we will update this when more information becomes available.
