San Diego CA— CBRE announces that Tsunami ARVR Inc., a Los Angeles-based technology company that builds enterprise focused virtual and augmented reality software platforms and products, has signed a 32,475-square-foot lease at the newly developed Torrey Point Campus, along the westside of I-5 at Carmel Mountain Road.

CBRE’s Dick Balestri and Ryan Egli represented the landlord, American Assets Trust, and the tenant, Tsunami ARVR, represented themselves.

Tsunami ARVR will occupy the first and third floors at Torrey Point, located at 3430 Carmel Mountain Road in February 2018. The company plans to hire 200 new tech related jobs at their San Diego campus in the near term.

“Location was critical to us and this new, modern, centrally located building grants us great visibility from the freeway, and provides a great platform for future recruiting in a world-class workspace and environment,” said Alex Hern, CEO and Founder of Tsunami ARVR.

Tsunami ARVR provides enterprise software solutions and is the leader in providing augmented and virtual reality platforms for enterprise that increases productivity, transforms collaboration and accelerates design. Investors include GPV’s Ray Lane, former President & COO Oracle Corporation and Partner Emeritus of Kleiner Perkins, along with George Still, Partner Emeritus of Norwest Venture Partners, and has served on the Board of Workday, Inc. since 2009.

Torrey Point is a new, two-building, Class A, Silver LEED certified, 90,596-square-foot office campus. The property offers an on-site bistro, indoor/outdoor collaborative areas, a fire pit, a fitness center with showers and locker facilities. The campus is visible from the Interstate-5 and is in proximity to UC San Diego, the Sorrento Valley/Sorrento Mesa technology hubs, Torrey Pines State National Reserve and Beach, Torrey Pines Golf course and numerous food and retail shops.
