Liberty Station’s Halloween Celebration Sunday, October 29

Celebrate Halloween at Liberty Station with family-friendly activities, a costume contest, trick-or-treating, a play area, music and entertainment, comics, a Hollywood car show, and more

San Diego CALiberty Station, San Diego’s signature neighborhood, will host Liberty Station’s Halloween Celebration in partnership with San Diego Comic Art Gallery and Comickaze Comics Books and More on Sunday, October 29 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the North Promenade at Liberty Station. Liberty Station is inviting the community to join in on a free family-friendly Halloween celebration. The daytime festivities will include free comics, a costume contest, trick-or-treating throughout the district, ghoulish arts and crafts, a play area presented by Kid Ventures, music and live entertainment, a Hollywood car show, and more!

“Liberty Station will come alive with friendly fright for trick-or-treaters of all ages to enjoy,” said Marco LiMandri, Executive Director of the Liberty Station Community Association. “It will be the perfect place for families to celebrate Halloween with a few extra surprises.”

All ages are encouraged to come decked out in their most elaborate costumes. There will be a costume contest, and the winner will receive a prize. With their candy bags in tow, families can explore the corridors of Liberty Station and pop into local businesses and shops that will be opening their doors for trick-or-treating. Maps of participating businesses will be available at the event.

Multiple businesses in Liberty Station will be taking part in the Halloween festival. Several Hollywood cars from famous blockbuster films will be parked in the North Promenade for fans to gather around, reminisce on their favorite movies, and snap some fun photos. There will also be comic-related activities, a jumpy house, arts and crafts and more.
