Carlsbad CA— At the March 27th luncheon meeting, the Carlsbad Republican Women Federated (CRWF) club welcomes the Republican candidates running to replace Darrell Issa for the 49th Congressional District. The 49th covers the northern coastal areas of San Diego County, including the cities of Oceanside, Vista, Carlsbad, and Encinitas, as well as a small portion of southern Orange County. Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton is also in the district. All Republican candidates for the 49th are invited to attend.
Local political activist and commentator, CRWF member Melanie Burkholder, will moderate the forum. Candidates will have an opportunity to present their platforms, followed by questions from the audience. Plan to attend this forum to be better informed in your selection of candidates on the June 5th California primary ballot.
Carlsbad Republican Women Federated is an active force in local political campaigns and CRWF members are ramping up to assist candidates and the Republican Party of San Diego in this important election year. Members participate in many election activities, including voter education, voter registration, get-out-the-vote efforts, and candidate selection and support. 2018 is a must win year for Republicans and the Carlsbad Republican Women will help make it happen!
