Oceanside Newcomers and Friends 30th Anniversary Celebration

Oceanside CA—On April 3, 2018, Oceanside Newcomers & Friends held their 30th Anniversary celebration during the club’s monthly meeting held at the Veterans Center of North County.  Deputy Mayor Chuck Lowery attended the celebration and presented Oceanside Mayor Peter Weiss’ proclamation, April 3, 2018  “Oceanside Newcomers & Friends” 30th Anniversary Day.

The club is a nonprofit social group formed in 1988 to foster friendships. The group is open to those who recently moved to Oceanside and surrounding areas as well as long time residents who would like to connect with new friends and come together for social and cultural activities, along with retirees or residents who want to get to know their community better.

The group meets at 10 a.m. the first Tuesday of the month at the Veterans Association of North County, 1617 Mission Avenue, Oceanside, CA.
