Few Seats Still Available for Tonight’s Oceanside Music Fest ’30 Shades of Jazz’

Oceanside CA— Just a few seats still available for Oceanside Music Fest 2018 Series: “30 Shades of Jazz”, tonight, Friday, May 18, 7:00 PM at Cynthia’s Artistic Expressions, 1906 Oceanside Blvd, Ste Q, Oceanside. Plan to relax, unwind, enjoy a drink and snacks while listening to the sounds of Jazz.

Whether your taste runs to New Orleans, Dixieland, Fusion, Latin, Hot, or Cool Jazz you are guaranteed an enjoyable evening’s entertainment.

Sponsored by Oceanside Cultural Arts Foundation the evening will offer Internationally recognized jazz artists as well as some home-grown favorites: Peter Marin sings the standards in the Great American Songbook with the verve of a jazz singer who was good enough to begin working Los Angeles-area nightclubs professionally as a teen. A protégé of the late, great Andy Williams, Marin was likewise schooled by the legendary Johnny Profit. The level of performance allowed him to have worked with top names in show business for more than 40 years. Peter’s love and respect for the music is evident in every lyrical phrase of his fresh, honest and heart-felt delivery. Gin ‘NTonix, a high octane a capella jazz quartet are a local group. Their Manhattan Transfer Tribute sounds delight every audience. Friday Trio [minus 1] is a newly formed group composed of local favorites Ellie Theofilopoulos, and Eliane Weidauer. They offer American Songbook with a jazzed twist. Piano Man Robert Parker is an award-winning pianist and graduate of the Drake University Instrumental Music Department. Robert Parker has performed professionally for 4 decades on record, as well as in concert. The Iowa native is a 2010 inductee into the Iowa Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and recognized for his ground-breaking appearances on the Ozark Opry show, (Country Variety Television). Several guest musicians including Mark Phelps and Keith Henderson, among others, are scheduled to sit in a set or two.
