4G LTE Upgrades Will Provide Faster Wireless Service

The upgraded cell towers in Carlsbad (1), Encinitas (1), Escondido (8), Oceanside (5), Poway (1), San Marcos (2) and Vista (2) will help customers get the most out of their mobile devices. Customers will experience better network connectivity while streaming videos, sharing on social media or texting family and friends.
“We know how important it is for our customers to stay connected,” Ignacio De La Torre, Assistant Vice President of External Affairs at AT&T. “We want to provide the best possible mobile experience, and we constantly invest in our North County network to accomplish that goal.”
These upgrades are part of AT&T’s ongoing efforts to increase speeds, add capacity and expand network availability using the latest technology. By building out its 4G LTE network, AT&T is laying the foundation for 5G.
