Opening of Oceanside Wing Stop Pushed Back One Week

The Wing Experts Giving Away Free Six-Piece Wing Combos to All Guests June 26 from 5 – 7 p.m

Oceanside CA— Due to unexpected delays, the opening of the new Oceanside Wing Stop has been pushed back one week. Wingstop (NASDAQ: WING), the award-winning concept with more than 1,000 locations worldwide, will now celebrate the grand opening of its new Oceanside location by offering free six-piece wing combos (wings plus veggie sticks or seasoned fries and a fountain beverage) to all guests who stop by to catch a first glimpse of the new location, 35 Douglas Drive, from 5 – 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26. The giveaways will continue while supplies last.

The new location officially opens its doors to the Oceanside community on Wednesday, June 27 at 11 a.m.

This new Wingstop is part of a development deal with Sizzling Platter, a Utah-based restaurant management company with more than 430 restaurant units globally. The 1,722-square-foot restaurant will provide seating for roughly 38 guests at a time.

“We are extremely excited to introduce our made-to-order wings and craveable rubs and sauces to the residents and visitors of Oceanside,” said Ted Morton, Chief Executive Officer of Sizzling Platter. “We look forward to becoming the go-to spot for all-things wings, sides and everything in between for Wingstop’s would-be, loyal and passionate fans alike.”

With a singular focus on wings, fries and sides, the Wingstop menu features bone-in and boneless wings with 11 bold, distinct flavors, including Original Hot, Cajun, Atomic, Mild, Teriyaki, Lemon Pepper, Hawaiian, Garlic Parmesan, Hickory Smoked BBQ, Louisiana Rub and Mango Habanero. Wingstop’s wings are always cooked-to-order, hand-sauced and tossed and served with variety of freshly-prepared sides including Wingstop’s hand-cut, seasoned fries.
