Daily, Now – April 2019, 9:00 am – 5:00 pm. San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. Free with paid admission or membership. Sculpture in the Garden. This unique exhibition showcases more than 50 sculptures from 30 talented artists – including renowned local artist James Hubbell – set against the beautiful backdrop of San Diego Botanic Garden. Most sculptures are for sale and are part of the Garden’s fund-raising effort. Visitors are invited to take a self-guided tour with the Garden’s Sculpture Map. Wednesday, July 4, 10 am. San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. Free with paid admission or membership. 4th of July Parade. Children and their families are invited to celebrate 4th of July at San Diego Botanic Garden. Dress up in red, white and blue, and bring decorated strollers and wagons (no bikes, please!). Thursdays, July  12,19 & 26, 4:30 pm – 8:00 pm. San Diego Botanic Garden. Quail Gardens Drive. Free with paid admission or membership. Thursday Family Fun Nights. Families are invited to pack up the kids and enjoy some outdoor fun at San Diego Botanic Garden. Live, kid-friendly entertainment is provided each Thursday night from 6-7 pm. Now – Tuesday, July 10. Daily, 9 am – 5 pm. Ecke Building. San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. Free with paid admission or membership.  Lung Hsiang Exhibit and Sale. The Annual Lung Hsiang Exhibit and Sale features original Chinese Brush Paintings created by members of the Lung Hsiang chapter of the American Artists of Chinese Brush Painting. Saturday & Sunday, July 21 & 22, 9 am – 5 pm, San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. Free with paid admission or membership. Kids 12 and under free. Insect Festival. This one-of-a-kind festival is sure to intrigue bug-devotees of all ages featuring thousands of fascinating creepy-crawlies including live lizards, snakes and the famous Madagascar hissing cockroaches! Saturday, July 7, 9 am – 12 pm. San Diego Botanic Garden. 230 Quail Gardens Drive. SDB Garden Members: $30/Non-Members: $36.Material fee of $80 per student is paid directly to the instructor at the class. Living Wall/Vertical Garden.  Learn the basics planting a living wall. Students will plant a 10” x 20” wall comprised of a variety of succulents. Living walls can be used to decorate an exterior or interior wall with multitudes of colors, textures, and sizes.
